“Porky riffs, ambient tentacles”
'Appearing courtesy of The Lion BS5 recommendation.
Links to follow, they likely are cthulhing and will emerge from the sea, oinking with the vengeance to make you succumb to their riffy will. You know what to do.' (Konrad's Useless 2p of Opinion)

FFO: Type O Negative, Electric Wizard, Tribulation, Sisters Of Mercy and Idle Hands
Blending Sabbathy riffs, gothic keyboards and catchy hooks reminiscent of a 60s hippie-cult turned undead. BloodRite return from their tombs to torment an unsuspecting 2026 audience with a sonic wall of fuzz, church organ and despair!

Bio -
Echo Den is a Bristol-based dub-reggae band consisting
of Ant Rae, (vocals, drums) Matthew Richards, (keyboards)
Pete Wookey, (bass) and Ian Stewardson (guitar).
Eschewing common conceptions of what dub-reggae
should sound like, Echo Den takes it cue from progressive,
psychedelic and ambient music while never dispensing
with the core elements that keep people on the dance
floor. Propulsive bass, relentless skanks, hypnotic grooves
and soaring vocals.
In 2023, they released a three-track EP called
‘Transmissions From Euclidian Space’.
‘Humanaut’ - their highly anticipated full length release,
was released the following year.
Echo Den have played to packed out venues in Bristol and
beyond including the legendary ‘The Bell Inn’ in Bath and
the hugely popular ‘Shindig Festival’ in Somerset.
Review -
''Dub-wise ambience with more imagination in the musical department than is common in that scene, plus the attitude and honesty you would expect from these disciples of the bassline. A stand-out band in an overcrowded festival field.''
Steve Henwood, Live Music Coordinator at The Bell Inn, Bath
Stayed tuned (DROP Z OR LOWER OR ELSE) and keep that slime on your face. Yes, I meant slime but you can keep smile on it too.
Peace and Riffs,
Konrad
