The photo and play prompts and the music have all been created by the Kitchen Table Photo Club in The Dings Park. The intention is simple to inspire and explore ways to encounter the world around us with wonder.

Those coming will discover what art emerges from a group of locals and visitors exploring a small urban park with a basketball court, some trees and The Safe 'Ouse community hub. The children/ youth and adults attending the club have co-created these artworks with props, cameras, make believe, adventures, percussion, discussion, crazy games and an inquisitive creative mind. During KTPC's residency in The Dings and Temple Quarter area, the club has devised ways to enter the spirit of culture making. Out of this deep play comes Bundles, a set of 35 photo prompt cards, made up of specially created artwork on one side, with instructions for play and creation on the other.

Each day there will be a chance to:

- go on a photo play walkabout/exploration with the magnificent Bundles cards. This is ideal for a group (over 2 or more) with an adult. Bring your own camera or use a phone camera. (A basket, that includes props and chalk will also be made available).

Come to The Safe ‘Ouse and receive some brief instructions and pick up your own pack of Bundles. Head off around The Dings to create images, get to know the ever changing landscapes, the tracks and trails, the grit and urban textures, the flowers and fauna.

- after the photo-play session return to The 'Safe 'Ouse with images and stories and receive your very own free pack of Bundles:to use at any time or place.

- pick up a Dream Map and visit treasures and locations created and known by the local children in the Dings Park. This is for anyone. Children require supervision.

What is Kitchen Table Photo Club?
KTPC emerged from small club gatherings around a kitchen table in Easton, Bristol. Its a photo art club.KTPC is a club, mostly for children, that loves to animate the world, It celebrates the domestic as a site for wonder while looking at art books, playing with analogue cameras and exhibiting work, all the while fostering friendship, connection and emotional resilience.

In 2025 KTPC collaborated with the youth club and students at nearby 'Screenology' and made a film called 'The Up of The Down'.

KTPC at The Safe 'Ouse:
Kitchen Table Photo Club have been in residence at the Youth Club for more than a year where they have created a Dings Park version of the club. Lots of play and art sessions have created stories and images in the area. This year these have been lovingly transformed into the Bundles pack of image prompts. The club have trialed these prompts during the play session. This experience can now can be distributed and shared throughout the world so others can take part in the tactile joys and intrigue that comes from animating the world around them while making art.

The Bundles emerged from a much loved KTPC practise.-collecting things like sticks, daisies, stones. KTPC bundle them together and think about what each part of the bundle might represent – a loved one, a dream, a longing – and then people bless their bundles. The word is good too. Bundles of this, bundles of that. Having a bundle.

The random moments of existence, the nooks and marks we make and discover, the narratives we conjure up are all central to the Bundles experience too. If a moment offers the opportunity to be stuck, Bundles tickles out ways for us to use our senses and perceptions, to gently or wildly move and explore. We set our own tempo and rhythm. If the destination seems obscure or unassailable, the cards help us find mythical helpers, invisible treasures and discoveries at feet or in our skies. Through being prompted by these play cards we return to the spirit of creative tactics and magical thinking, so wonderfully presented to us by children and their commitment to play.

For this project Kitchen Table Photo Club is Esther May Campbell and Chiz Williams plus the children, youth and adults of the Dings Youth Club, as well fellow artists, play-makers and facilitators including Ilayda Akarca, Amos Childs, Nola Hersey, Sinead Gulless, Dan Johnson, Michelle Kendray, Mark S. Williamson.

Bundles prompts and photos, plus associated music and maps have been created through numerous Kitchen Table Photo Club art sessions at the Dings Youth Club in Dings Park as well as sessions in Nightingale Valley, Easton and London.
