on Saturday 5th September. The event starts at 19:30.
The Marma Project returns to the scene with its 10th instalment. In collaboration with The Secret Larder, 'Marma Sessions: Emergence' brings together improvised electronic music, sound healing, spoken word, percussion and visual art. This session marks a reunion of the Marma community, holding space for the tentative emergence of forms back into the physical world, where self enquiry, transient expression and flow state exploration are central.
The session features two sets, a different setup and a new venue, so the community will be swimming through the newness together. In line with C19 rules, you'll each have your own percussive piece and art supplies for the session to create comfort both in mind and body. You can also bring your own art supplies if you'd like to.

The Marma Project was founded and curated to focus on the fusion of sonic, visual and performance art whilst holding space for attendees to create visual art in response to improvised music. The project is fem-led and strives to amplify unheard voices.
The sessions are meditative, encouraging self therapy through creative expression. Attendees are encouraged to express freely, honestly and authentically as they find stimuli from the exhibition of art and music around them.
