Erektronica 8 - The pub is ours

— The Stag And Hounds
Hoo wee, 2 rooms of hoonin uptempo grooves
time:19:00
price: See event details

Information:

Now is the time of the breakcore pub. Now begins the era of the the gabba local. Why should a quick pint on a Wednesday not be accompanied by a skank to ear splitting noise music?

For our final night of the year we have been allowed to take over the entire Stag and Hounds to bring you two distinctly different flavours of aural assault.

In the Stag room (downstairs) it's Erektronica classic, with residents Hurtdeer and [insert gore], alongside Billy Bumwank making a special appearance. As well as our in house flavours we're bringing some special bois too:

Eraserhead. The master of weird 'core, from vhs noises to 80s sound effects, who knows what he'll play on the night!

Gizmode. Prepare to skank one minute to j-core joy, then the next switch into twitchy chip tune, with Gizmode's particular blend of oddness.

Krest. Krest the Best, what more do you need to know? If you don't know Krest...you don't wanna miss this...

In the Hound room upstairs we are delivering Erektronica pro. Not for the faint of heart the aim of our upstairs experiment is to see exactly how much gabba it will take to destroy a 450 year old pub...

Gracing the hound room with a special appearance is Burden, who much like Billy Bumwank is one of our resident crew in a cunning disguise, so no-one blames him when the ceiling crumbles.

The Hound room also contains an entirely new sensation - the 3hr Gabba Girls. Their name may be very similar to the famous 24hr Garage Girls, but there are a couple of key differences...see if you can figure out what they are. Guttersnip3, Poles McKenzie and our own Wombcorps will be punishing your ears with noise noise noise until you cry cry cry.

And headlining the Hound room is Goreshit. We've been looking forward to spinning for us for ages now and having him play a gabba noise set should be just what we need for a cold late November night.
