THIS THURSDAY AUG 27th 2026:
ZACH THOMPSON (LDN) is an artist rooted in the TIME-WORN bardic and balladeer traditions of the British and Irish isles. His work synthesises from a BOUNDLESS pool of influence: DADA poetry, BIBLE myth, cubicle GRAFITTI, the NEWSPAPER, NURSERY RHYMES, ancient PROVERBS, CROSSWORD CLUES and age-old IDIOMS. He has just released his third EP, "WHO PAYS THE PIPER?" via BREAKFAST RECORDS.
“I feel at home when I hear disorientation in a song. It feels natural. Even a bit moving,” says MYER U CLARK, the BRISTOL singer-songwriter with his new album TINDERBOX. He will play for us tonight, showcasing his elegantly-unpredictable yet somehow intuitive melodies and words. Inspired as much by FOLK as he is by old CROONERS, a definitely transportive set can be expected for all.
SAM AND THE GODS (LDN) is the solo project of SAM FRYER from the folk-rock group GENTLY TENDER, and folk collective BROADSIDE HACKS. His solo project tells tales of RAMBLING around Britain from dawn and beyond dusk. He writes songs about the PEOPLE he has met along the way, PLACES he has stopped, and reflections of how the LAND so quickly changes from SERENITY to CHAOS.
