⏰ Time: 7:00 – 8:30 PM The Station, Bristol

This course consists of 4 classes, where we will explore the techniques and foundations of Afrocuban dance in the first part of the class , with a special focus on:

PALO: A powerful and grounded Afrocuban dance rooted in Afro-Cuban spiritual traditions. It emphasizes strength, connection to the earth, and expressive torso movements.

MAKUTA: A more celebratory and rhythmic dance with strong historical roots, combining elegance with grounded movement and dynamic musicality.

SECOND PART OF OUR CLASS we will focus in Application & Fusion.
We will apply what we’ve learned by combining Afrocuban movements with popular Cuban dances, including Salsa, Cha-cha-cha, Pilón and others.

We will also practice important elements such as Arm styling, Turns, Coordination and flow

Always remember:

Body movement is essential to dancing with quality, confidence, and enjoyment.
