In the last few weeks, the risks of advanced AI have become headline news, and suddenly everyone is talking about it! So what’s it all about and what can you do?
PauseAI is a global grassroots movement calling for a pause on the development of powerful AI systems.
Many new faces have joined us since our last talk, so it’s time to get together again!
We’ll start with a short introductory talk covering the risks of superintelligence, the latest developments making global headlines, and what PauseAI is doing about them. This will be followed by an open discussion, giving everyone a chance to share their thoughts and ask questions.
Afterwards, we’ll head out for a drink together to unwind and continue the conversation.
