Taynee Lord and the Crookes + Part Time Models at The Thunderbolt
See event details

A gig held at The Thunderbolt on Friday 19th June. The event starts at 19:30.

Among the clang of electric guitars, Taynee Lord sits upon her vocal throne, producing a heady mix of anthemic hooks and commanding lyrics.

Taynee claims to be ‘No Queen Bee’ but prepare yourself for high octane country twang, walking bass and songs that tuck themselves into a bed of twisted pop.

At the age of 10, Taynee watched Dolly Parton live in Cardiff - this performance changed everything! It catapulted Taynee into the world of Country music where she was firmly put down roots. In more recent times, Taynee has performed at Marco Pierre White’s restaurant and sang at the opening ceremony of the Rugby World Cup. The band’s single ‘Blue Jeans’ made its first radio debut on BBC radio Bristol on the Steve Yabsley show, March 14th 2019.
