JOHN MCLEAN MEMORIAL EVENT.....THE BONES playing live

We were all devastated to hear about John McLean who passed away earlier this year - he was looking forward, as we all were, to recommencing band activities in early 2022.
John was a talented singer, songwriter and performer, cutting a recognisable figure on the post-punk Bristol music scene, initially through his involvement as lead singer of The Crazy Trains. His observations on life and the times we are living through, informed many of his song lyrics he wrote for The Crazy Trains and The Bad Losers. John was also a very popular graphic designer. He developed a great reputaion and completed work for many venues around the south west. His encyclopaedic music knowledge and his skill as both a humorous raconteur and an impersonator, made him the best company over a few drinks in an accommodating pub, bar or venue. R.I.P John
