THE RADIO MAKERS + The Paramount Trip + Mummy Bee at The Thunderbolt

A gig held at The Thunderbolt on Thursday 19th March. The event starts at 19:30.

THE RADIO MAKERS: The Radio Makers - a hard hitting alternative glam, pop quartet, who with the classic bass, drums, guitar line-up, deliver a catchy brand of 'in your face' power-pop which combines edgy guitars, funky bass-lines, driving drums and anthemic sing-along choruses to deliver a sound that has been likened to The Cure meets Bowie's Ziggy Stardust with early Tubeway Army and Franz Ferdinand thrown in.

We have received rave reviews for our pulsating live shows across the south west of England over the last 4 year. Highlights include sell out support slots with the legandary Toyah WIlcox, the Blockheads, Spear of Destiny, the Quireboys and Big Country.Pop... Punk... Glam... Funk... Vertigo-go!!

THE PARAMOUNT TRIP: The band play a blend of Rock and acoustic rock, with several critics likening them to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Crowded House and U2. Although the band have been busy recently recording and performing in other bands such as Racing Mars, The Mireille Mathlener Band and Mustard Allegro, they have plans to release an album this year, with live gigs to follow.
