Plastic Bag are an English/Irish Art Rock-Post Punk four piece based in Bristol UK. Formed in 2022 by Steve Dew, Phillip Bond, Mark Van Vasey and Jim Johnston.
Inspired by classic bands such as Television, Talking Heads, PIL and Gang of Four, Plastic Bag bring a ferocious live sound - The politically charged snarling delivery of Mark Van Vasey’s dark baritone - Thunderously intricate guitar work - Add in a dance element incorporating percussion and interweaving synths - dropped in under a powerful rhythm section to blistering effect.
These guys are not to be missed live or otherwise!
