A gig held at The Thunderbolt on Thursday 3rd October. The event starts at 20:00.

3 BONZOS AND A PIANO (Rescheduled from Oct 17th)

The founder members of the truly legendary Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band promise a surreal evening of music and mirth, with their psychedelic take on music hall, rock n roll and jazz. This is panto for adults, with robots, unsuitable medical technology and ancient theatrical props.

Formed in a distant 60s art school by great British eccentric Vivien Stanshall, The Bonzos provided the missing link between the Goons and the Pythons with such classics as'Urban Spaceman', 'Jollity Farm', 'Hunting Tigers Out In India', 'Monster Mash' and'Can Blue Men Sing The Whites? '

Comedians Stephen Fry and Adrian Edmondson have proclaimed the Bonzos as'our heroes! . Eddie Izzard and Bill Bailey acknowledge them as a formative influence and they're as sharp today, both musically and satirically, as they ever were (Shindig).

Inspired by their motto'if you don't rehearse, it can't go wrong', expect a show so packed with entertainment it remains a beguiling mystery, a joyful triumph (Who's Laughing Now).
