Almagrey is influenced by 90’s shoegaze bands such as My Bloody Valentine, Ride and Blonde Redhead. Their style is characterized by screaming guitars, melodic vocals, wild drums and introspective lyrics.
Almagrey has seen airplay from American based DKFM shoegaze radio.

THINKING WITH SAND
Lo-fi shoegaze / noise rock trio from Bristol and Newport, mixing the blissed out noise pop of My Bloody Valentine with the attack and melody of Hüsker Dü.
Originally an electronic shoegaze duo between 2005 and 2009, the project was resurrected in 2020 when the EP 'february' caught the attention of Shore Dive Records. The album 'dreams and half truths' was intended to be a collaboration between the three band members, however, due to the various lockdowns of that year, Linus recorded the bulk of it at home, with bassist Nathan contributing ideas via video messages. The album was released 5 June 2021, with CD copies selling out the same day. A vinyl re-release
was issued by Oscarson Records on 13 August 2022, few copies remain.
Since late 2021 they are a trio, featuring Dean of Welsh post punk bands Science Bastard and Frommars on drums.
DAN HAM
Dan Ham is a man who talks over songs because he can't sing but it's okay because he'll just say he is inspired by Ian Dury to cover up that fact. Also has somehow found decent musicians to play with so sometimes it can sound proper good.
