Prepare yourself for an adrenaline-pumping, dance-jumping experience as we bring you Spirtfire Tides, an Indie/Alt-Rock band with hard-hitting, mesmerising melodies and a propensity for punk-energy.
Join me for an evening at The Thunderbolt for this electrifying rock gig. A one-of-a-kind experience that promises to take you on a roller-coaster ride of emotions, leaving you craving for more long after the final chord has been struck.
Kicking off the evening is Josh Atkison, a Bristol based singer songwriter. Having studied music technology and performed in bands growing up, he combines his love of playful electronic synth, acoustic sounds and lyric writing to produce powerful songs backed up by his unique goosebumps inducing vocal.
Next, is Ben Nicholls a Cornish musician who combines popular harmonies from The Eagles, authentic guitar picking from James Taylor, and catchy lyricism of Mumford and Sons, and you have discovered Ben Nicholls. The 24 year old singer-songwriter brought up on the craggy Cornish cliffs, has found himself in more recent years, performing at major venues across Bristol, London and beyond.
Lastly, to finish the night off with a bang have Spitfire Tides. Formed in January 2020 while studying at university, the band were brought together by their mission to create a community for the lost and lonely through all things music. Lead singer Josh sings about the real and often darker realities of life. Lead guitarist and hard rock enthusiast Howard brings the rocking riffs and sizzling solos, while bassist Callum provides the jazzy bass lines and drummer James provides the beat and pulse of the band.
After playing some of the southwest's most iconic grassroots venues, the band will continue their momentum on the live scene throughout 2022.
The event is hosted by POLGAZE, a Bristol based event company that specialises in hosting an eclectic range of music events.
