How to design a picture book with Sean Julian at The Tobacco Factory

A event held at The Tobacco Factory on Monday 28th October. The event starts at 20:00.

Monday 28 October, 8-9.30pm, £4 (includes booking fee / TICKET ONLY EVENT)

You're invited to this 'Storytale' festival event in 'The Snug' at Tobacco Factory (located inside the downstairs Cafe Bar). Hosted by Bristol's AOI-supported, illustrators meet-up PIP (Put into Practice).

Picture books can take months to create and there can be many hoops an illustrator will need to jump through before it’s complete.

In this short presentation illustrator Sean Julian will detail the different stages of the picture book design process. He will explain the sometimes-complicated role of the publisher and show how good communication with them can help a project run a little smoother.

There will be an open Q&A after the presentation, so please come with questions for Sean.
