Internationally acclaimed clarinetist Adrian Cox is a leading authority on New Orleans music, bringing an authentic and electrifying voice to the idiom. As a celebrated exponent of the style, Cox has dedicated his career to preserving and pushing the boundaries of early jazz, earning praise for his masterful technique, deep historical knowledge, and infectious energy on stage. His unrivalled feel and virtuosity for the music he plays have led to concerts with the biggest names in jazz including two concerts with Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra both in London and New York. Adrian is currently touring with his exceptional Trio featuring the New Zealand born guitarist Honey Boulton and Parisian bassist Alex Gilson, a true world class power house that leaves audiences spellbound.

Club Croco delves into alternative repertoire from the early jazz era, capturing and expressing
the timeless essence of the music, delivered with an abundance of charisma and flair by Cox
and his trio. An extensive knowledge and insatiable passion for their genre of choice assists
these master musicians to successfully capture the true essence of the era that they love,
while simultaneously providing a modern slant on proceedings.
Adrian Cox has the ability to engage with his audience both on and off-stage, with an unrivalled
feel for his material of choice. Combining this with a virtuosic technique has led him to
widespread critical acclaim, including Time Out declaring him “London’s most charismatic
Reedsman” and jazz superstar / BBC broadcaster Jamie Cullum describing him as “indisputably
one of the great clarinetists of the world.” Now based in Sweden, Cox looks forward to touring
the new work with his trio throughout Scandinavia, Europe, New Zealand and Australia with multiple dates
confirmed across these regions and further afield.
