To misquote Irish evangelist Patrick Peyton ‘the family that plays together stays together’. In the case of brothers Paul and Mark Bradley it’s a sentiment that’s true and not true. Having both left their Belfast roots to settle in Bristol many a long year ago they have jointly and separately played their part on the creative fringes of the local music scene ever since.
Guitarist, loop technician, singer and famously spontaneous composer Paul Bradley is currently best known for alt-folk minimalists Three Cane Whale, but in earlier times he and drummer Mark were core members of seminal bands Me and Organelles. Both bands were famed for their originality and the combination of spontaneity with catchy hooks.
Now the brothers have reunited to mine the legacy of those past projects and develop it further.
