See event details

A event held at The Trinity Centre on Sunday 15th June. The event starts at 16:00.

The Arts Team at Trinity warmly invites you to the special preview of ISMAILI ROCKPOOLS.

Join Trinity for the preview of Ismaili Rockpools, an exhibition centring the lives, landscapes, and spiritual heritage of Ismaili communities in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Through painting, photography, video, textiles, and archival material, the exhibition explores what it means to belong in a faith scattered across borders, where home is shaped relationally. Anchored by the work of Matty Feurtado, alongside contributions from local artists, Ismaili Rockpools offers a poetic meditation on resilience, folklore, and the ties between people and place.

As part of the preview, there will be a screening of Feurtado’s film Madaklasht, Zende Boshi at 4:15 PM, followed by a Q&A with the director, hosted by artist and impact producer Melanie Pyne.
