Free entry, 3pm–10pm at The Trinity Centre — a full day of loud guitars, heavy riffs and no‑nonsense charity energy. The lineup cuts across alt‑rock, blues and industrial metal, with Oberschlesien closing the night: an Industrial Metal force singing in the Silesian language, known for a sound that hits like machinery at full tilt. Before them, Erozja (Alt Rock), Papaneja (rock/blues), Double Mirror (rock) and Tebe (Rock/Metal/Grunge) keep things raw, noisy and very alive — a proper mix of grit, melody and distortion.
The event is put together by Bristol’s Polish community as part of a long‑running charity tradition that takes over cities across Poland and beyond. It’s built on openness, good will and a sense of people showing up for each other — no barriers, no fuss, just community and music.
Donations are welcome throughout the day. There’ll be hot food, desserts, a merch stall, auctions and a few surprises — everything feeding back into the cause of the fundraiser (see below). Please bring cash.
If you’re bringing kids, swing by from 2pm , family‑friendly start with workshops and activities before the amps get louds (kids activities run until 5pm separately from the gig - kids are welcome to stay but need to be supervised by an adult).
About the Cause:
The Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP Finale) is a nationwide charity drive that runs through Poland’s cold winter months and culminates on the last Sunday of January. Each year the Orchestra “plays” for a clear medical goal — raising funds to improve a specific aspect of child or elderly hospital care in Poland (this year - improving medical care for children with digestive system diseases). Concerts, auctions, and community events bring people together, making the Finale both a season of activity and a joyful culmination that Polish communities worldwide love to share with others.
Entry requirements: no age restrictions (under 18s to be accompanied by an adult over 21yrs, 1:1 ratio)
