Be Part Of (UK Premiere)

— The Trinity Centre
Be Part Of is an explorative theatre performance led by Monika Truong asking whose voices are heard and represented in our society
price: Headfirst Tickets

Be Part Of by Monika Truong

I am free,
A free individual,
Free member of society.
I know the access, the secret terms,
I identify with them.

When do you feel like you are part of a community? Whose voices are heard and represented in our society? When does individual desire give way to the need for consensus?

Be Part of is an explorative theatre performance that invites you to reflect on the complexity of our identities. In three acts, we confront our own responsibility, play with the desire for freedom and belonging, and last, but not least, start a movement.

We question the norm,
We dissolve, form, transform,
We keep moving.
We are all,

“…a space in which the audience could question their assumptions about what constitutes community and how it should govern itself” Audience Member

“It's a great piece and I love how much it asks of the audience” Audience Member
