Step into this dynamic contact improvisation session, where we will explore together the edges and overlaps of CI, creative movement, and instant composition. We will focus on a wide range of movement skills, techniques and practices that inform and are informed by CI.
The class aims to help you nurture your creativity and embody your playfulness with a deeply collaborative practice of improvisation and movement. Hone technical facets such as weight distribution, balance, spatial awareness, and much more. This is an environment fostering extensive solo exploration within a collaborative framework.

The second half of the session will be for jamming with each other using the skills and techniques explored in the first half.

Location: We will be in the beautiful Fyfe Hall at the Trinity Centre. Its a lovely open space with a wooden floor and big stained glass window. Fyfe Hall is on the second floor and the venue is accessible.

We have the space from 6:30 to 9:30 so there is time for gentle arrival and departure of the space.
Come ready to move in comfy clothing, full-length trousers and long-sleeves. Lets stay hydrated- bring a water bottle.
