Brizzle Boyz - Drag King Cabaret - STREAM SHOW at LIVESTREAM

A event held at The Trinity Centre on Thursday 9th April. The event starts at 20:00.

CN: Corona Virus changes, please read!

Hey folks. Although there has not been any official recommendation to do so from the government as of yet, and whilst our wonderful venue Trinity have assured us that they are taking every precaution to make the space as safe as possible, we have made the hard decision to alter the format of our live show. We feel this is the socially responsible course of action to take, and that we owe it to our most vulnerable audience members to take these precautions.

That being said... This is not a full cancellation!

We would like to try something a little bit different and experimental. To replace our live show at Trinity, we will be streaming a mixture of live and pre-recorded footage to the comfort of your own homes.

If you have already purchased a ticket, you will automatically be emailed a link to the livestream version of the show as an apology for this change of events. You will also receive a full refund.

For everyone else, tickets to our streamed version of the show can be purchased at a reduced rate of £3, or higher amounts if you'd like to make an additional donation to our performers. All money from ticket sales will go directly to supporting our performers in these difficult times.

Please note that whilst we will endeavor to ensure the live stream goes as smoothly as possible, we are all new to this, and technical complications may arise. We are therefore asking people that purchase streaming tickets to do so as a "gesture of faith" in order to support the show and performers, with the understanding that there may be technical errors on the night. We are also looking in to ways that the livestream can be saved and sent out after it has finished. It will all be a little DIY, as the spirit of Brizzle Boyz has always been.

We have decided to go with a streamed show rather than postpone for a few reasons: firstly, no one knows when all of this will be over, or what things will look like when it is. Many of our performers also depend on performing for an income, and we wanted to offer them a chance to recuperate money. We also wanted to provide our amazing audience members with a little bit of warmth in these uncertain times, and we think this could be a fun way for everyone to still get the Brizzle Boyz experience whilst we're all feeling the pressures of social isolation. We also hope that this can provide us with a learning experience and new opportunities for accessibility for future shows!

The refund process for all tickets purchased through Headfirst will begin automatically on the 20th of March. However, we know that a few people may like the option to donate their ticket costs to our performers. If you would like to do this, please send an email to [email protected] with the subject header "DONATE TICKET" and the email you used to purchase your tickets. If you purchased a ticket through Trinity then you will be receiving a refund from them shortly, please contact [email protected] if you have any issues.

We thank you for your patience in these uncertain times. If you have any questions, suggestions, or feedback please don't hesitate to send us an email at [email protected].

Much love,
Oliver and Roddy
