Arizona Hip-Hop trio Injury Reserve, consisting of MC’s Ritchie With a T & Stepa J Groggs (Rest in Peace), alongside producer Parker Corey, are the rap games Talking Heads – they have an art scene shit stirrer approach and theatre like commentary on art and culture.
Forming in 2013 and releasing their first mixtape, Live From The Dentist Office, in 2015 to online critical acclaim. They amassed a grass roots following in their hometown of Phoenix. 2016 and 2017 saw them release 2 more acclaimed projects, Floss in 2016, and Drive It Like It’s Stolen in 2017. They paired these released with a move to Los Angeles and multiple world tours (opening for Ho99o9 & The Underachievers along the way).
In 2019, their hard work had reached it’s pinnacle as they caught the attention of legendary A&R/manager Kyambo “Hip-Hop” Joshua who signed them to his Seneca Village imprint under Loma Vista Recordings. They capped off 2019 by releasing their self-titled major label studio debut and a 60 date world tour.
