Dance With Shangaan Electro at Trinity Centre
£4

A gig held at The Trinity Centre on Wednesday 10th July. The event starts at 20:00.

'Shangaan dancers, they dance, they can go on for almost an hour with that speed, without getting tired. When you see them dance you feel like they have got no bones' - Nozinja (Shangaan Electro)

___________

Shangaan Electro is the high-speed dance phenomenon from South Africa in which dazzling footwork and rubber-limbed body shakes combine with hyper-accelerated beats, addictive vocals and some crazy, colourful costumes

For the first time this summer the stars of the genre will lead dance workshops across the UK, giving people of all ages the chance to learn the wildest Shangaan dance moves step by step.

There will also be the chance to enjoy an array of live performances, featuring leader of the dance Nozinja, the clown-masked Tshetsha Boys, plus vocalists Tiyiselani and Nkata Mawewe.
