Diaspora Festival - Flag Up Your Identity at The Trinity Centre

A event held at The Trinity Centre on Wednesday 3rd April. The event starts at 11:00.

Be a part of DIASPORA! festival's 'Flag Up Your Identity' project and unleash your creativity by making a unique flag that embodies your identity and heritage. Whether you're inspired by your cultural roots or personal journey, there are endless possibilities to express yourself through craft.

Get creative with materials ranging from old clothes and textiles to paper and card, or even repurpose plastic bags into vibrant symbols of self-expression. Utilise DIASPORA!'s resource pack for handy tips and inspiration to kickstart your flag-making journey.

All flags made as part of these workshops will be displayed across Bristol city centre as part of the festival.

DIASPORA! festival is a vibrant celebration of people, music, film, poetry, dance, storytelling, and more, taking place at venues across the city on the early May bank holiday weekend. These events aim to reflect the variety of talent within the region’s cultural communities.
