held at The Vestibules
on Thursday 7th August. The event starts at 10:00.
Coe Gallery presents a significant exhibition celebrating the legacy of First Nations artists from Australia, the exhibition highlights powerful voices whose practices are deeply rooted in cultural knowledge and ancestral connection.
Timed to coincide with the landmark solo exhibition 'Emily Kam Kngwarray' at Tate Modern, this is a rare opportunity to experience the work of some of the most influential figures in contemporary Aboriginal art, here in Bristol. It is also an opportunity to acquire works that continue the legacy of Emily Kame Kngwarreye, through the artistic lineage and connections of her family.
Alongside these works, contributions from Coe Gallery’s resident artists offer a cross-generational narrative, creating a space for dialogue and artistic exchange that bridges tradition and innovation.
