Family Tree at The Wardrobe Theatre
£10 full / £8 Concessions

A event held at The Wardrobe Theatre on Friday 4th March. The event starts at 19:30.

Through storytelling, movement, song and film, Family Tree challenges our perceptions on migration and diasporic identities, through the intimate stories of the brown, black and white people jostling for space within one family. Told with humour, this piece explores the borders, boundaries and family histories we are all surviving, and how navigating them shapes who we are. Expect family secrets, lies and a horse.

Misri Dey is a trained international theatre practitioner, now working in Cornwall, who has performed professionally in the UK, USA, and Europe. Since 2003, she has been creating solo work that explores diasporic identities for live theatre and radio. Arts participation is also an important element to Misri’s work; she has worked with many youth and community organisations to broaden audiences and participants of live performance
