The day you learnt you were going to be a mum, or the moment you realized your mum was once a child like you. Stories of birth, pregnancy and sex. The joy, the fear and the strangeness of being a parent. And the joy and uncertainty of having one. Stories of nesting, flying the coop, and coming back home. The person who cared for you when you were small, or the person who was absent. The mother, the maiden, the crone. Family holidays, breastfeeding in public, or being a mother figure to someone else. Bringing something into existsence, creating something cool or weird or new. The bird and the bees talk, your first day of school, and Mother's day. Shall I be mother..?
