A event on Sunday 2nd February. The event starts at 10:30.

Watercolour for Mindfulness

10.30 - 4 pm at the Wild Goose Space, St. Werburgh’s, Bristol.

Suitable for beginners and more experienced artists.

£60 (or £50 supported rate). All art materials and hot drinks included.

Find some inner space and relax your heart and mind through mindful painting! Join award winning artist and qualified teacher, Emma Burleigh, for a day of exploration and self-connection.

Enjoy new ways to de-stress through fun and supportive exercises using the exquisite medium of watercolour.

No need to have any experience, ‘artistic talent’ or knowledge of mindfulness on arrival…all that you need is a willingness to engage with the mindful-painting exercises in our safe and non judgemental environment.

Develop confidence to paint more expressively and intuitively.

Give yourself permission to enjoy the unexpected, to have fun and to make 'mistakes'.

Learn or refresh your watercolour skills with guidance on how to paint washes, wet in wet, and glazes.

Feel supported to try out new ways to become present and aware through painting in this luminous medium.

Suitable for both beginners and more experienced artists looking to relax, shake up and get playful with their watercolour practice.

Emma is a qualified Art teacher (PGCE Art and Design since 2003) and has a foundation in Relational Mindfulness from the Karuna Institute. She has been regularly meditating at Gaia House since 2005.
