Overmono (DJ Set)
Brothers Tessela and Truss carved their own sounds through pivotal tracks like ‘Hackney Parrot’ and ‘Beacon’ on labels such as R&S Records, Perc Trax and their own label Polykicks, encapsulating so much of what is exciting and vital in UK underground, electronic music. This is no different in their duo Overmono, with releases on the likes of XL Recordings and notorious live and DJ sets, they are still keeping the party moving. We can’t wait to see what they bring to Thekla Bristol!

A man who needs little introduction, a Godfather of Drum ‘n’ Bass and a true originator, it is a pleasure to invite Grooverider down to the boat for a very special set showcasing the best in old school rave tracks from the infamous club, Blue Note. Canadian born DJ Darwin has been making waves after her 5-year residency at Griessmuehle. From this she began hosting the REEF parties, named after the ocean’s diverse ecosystems, have hosted the likes of Shed, Objekt, Skee Mask and Peverelist to name a few. With her legendary b2b with re:ni at Dekmantel being dubbed the highlight of the festival, Darwin and her complete genre fluidity and paramount mixing capabilities have shown she is a wizard behind the decks! Expect to hear anything from pure Techno to Jungle, we can’t wait to hear what she has in store for this one!
