Dan Shake
The London-based artist has done what no other has done before him, landing his debut release back in 2014 on Moodymann’s prestigious label Mahogani Music, with no Detroit heritage. This has been followed with numerous self released records on his label Shake, and this year on Lumberjacks in Hell. Outside of this, Dan has launched a 12” edit series, Shake Tapes, gaining support from respected selectors such as Antal, Mafalda and Gilles Peterson. 2018 has begun with a heated Boiler Room affair in Melbourne and monthly residency on London based radio station Rinse FM.
Byron The Aquarius
Hailing from Birmingham, Alabama, Byron launched his production career in 2007, collaborating with well-known Parisian producer Onra on an EP entitled “The Big Payback.” That collaboration led to numerous releases on independent labels like Rush Hour, Warp (with Flying Lotus), HHV, Circulations, Reebok Classics A Journey into Future, Real Soon, Giant Step Records and Kyle Halls esteemed Detroit label, Wild Oats.
Jack Priest
Jack Priest has been honing his skills under the mentoring of legendary producer Green Velvet, and with a not so serious approach to electronic music the dance-pop artist’s work has quickly gained global support from the likes of BBC Radio 1. Recently Jack moved into release his debut EP on Wolf and Lamb Records entitled “Ladies Night” whilst working on club project Deck-A-Dance.
Daisy Moon
Daisy Moon is a DJ and producer based in Bristol, UK, and a key protagonist in the city’s underground dance music scene. Known for weaving strands including techno, electro and deep house into her immersive and blended sets, Daisy cut her teeth as a resident at the Idle Hands-affiliated club night, Brstl, a monthly event dedicated to artists and DJs making and playing music in the city.
Syz
Syz is a Brightonian who has rooted himself in Bristol over the past few years. Representing for his Method Lab collective, he recently released a record under new imprint Only Ruins. The record tip toes between techno, electro, bass and breaks - expect to hear similar vibes on the dance floor.
Sam Hall
Sam Hall is a 25 year old DJ from Bristol. He was born in Liverpool and moved to Bristol at an early age, surrounding himself with the exciting musical culture that the city has to offer. Through a passion of electronic music, Sam eventually found his niche in the genres of House and Techno. This led him to develop a keen interest in old classic records whilst still keeping up to date with modern day releases. His sets consist of a variety of these two genres with influences taken from late 80’s and 90’s records and DJ’s from Chicago, Detroit and the UK.
