Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, aka Southend boy Sam Duckworth, has gone from strength to strength since the world sat up and took notice after an open mic session in late 2005 caught the attention of Radio One 's Huw Stephens. Fusing softly punk vocals and simple acoustic melodies, GCWCF appears to have stumbled across a formula that has seen critics and fans alike, bowing at his feet.
Tellison lost everything. Also-rans circa 2007 they fumbled and stumbled their way through a couple more years, watched friends quit and succeed, hurt and happy, they slipped through the night ok on motorways, joined up every town that would have them with shows, local radio sessions and sleeping on kids ' floors. Tellison grew up a little bit. Unable to pay the bills they got jobs and furrowed their brows as piece by fragile piece their guitars and their hopes chipped and scratched and slowly fell apart. They wrote a new record. Its on its way.
The Attika State is a five piece musical concoction whose origins span oceans. Hailing from Sicily, Malta, Sri Lanka and Wisbech the boys formed as a product of the education system and love of live music. Influenced by everything to do with melody, the band strives to convince the minds of cynics to once again appreciate the beauty of forward thinking melodic rock and roll.
