Rat Pack Records present RAT RACE - A day party and fundraiser for 395.

Ever heard of a group of mischief-makers who serve up more than just trouble? We’re Ratpack Records, a collective of creatives, but most importantly electronic music lovers. We come scurrying from across the UK and Europe with members in Bristol, Birmingham, and Krakow. We’re all about bringing people together, and there’s no better way to do this than through music. We aim to create a safe space for women, queer, and non-binary folk involved in the bass music scene, which sometimes can be quite intimidating. But none of that at Ratpack, we want you to let your inner rat out—keeping it lighthearted, silly, and always a bit wild.

Now, we’re buzzin to announce our very first event! Join us at Rat Race, a day party and fundraiser for @threeninefive.bristol, one of Bristol’s top grassroots venues. Expect a vibrant pop-up market with a plethora of things lined up to keep you entertained:

You’ll be able to explore a range of art from talented locals, including pieces from @pabloladaco and Ratpack’s own @graceful.edgeartistry. For those looking to shop, there will be fashion and jewellery stalls, plus the debut of Isabelle’s Emporium, a sustainable fashion brand launched by one of our own—still gotta keep it glam for the sewers.

Our beauty corner will keep those claws sharp with a fresh set of nails, and we’ll bedazzle your teeth with tooth gems by @cruzcanines—keeping them perfect for when you’re gnawing through cables (not enjoying the set, yeah?).

Ratpack HQ has been busy and we’ve got fresh t-shirts available, but don’t wait too long—they’ll be gone as soon as the rats arrive. Can’t trust the rats, after all!

Musically, we’ve got a day packed with sound. In the afternoon, we’ll have open decks from 2-6pm, so any DJ rats can jump up and show what they’ve got (the cheesier and booty-popping the tune, the better). As night falls, prepare for a proper session with DJ sets from @ro.la_uk, @pol444r, and @millicentno1, bringing the beats to keep the dance floor pumping.

But the evening also holds something special: a live performance from two of our own rats, Betty M and Kamaal, who have cooked up some sonic nibbles and will debut their brand new track, "Circles." This is a huge celebration for Ratpack, and we’re thrilled to share this moment with you. Ratatouille must’ve been in the studio with a tune this good?

Of course, it’s all in support of 395 Bristol, a grassroots venue that plays a vital role in the city’s creative community. Make sure to enter our raffle, with prizes including a Ratpack t-shirt, a set of nails, and a £20 bar tab—all proceeds going towards keeping 395’s creative spirit alive. There’s also a free cheeseboard, but you’ll want to get there early before the other rats beat you to the cheese!

We can’t wait to meet more like-minded rats. It’s always good to know your neighbours down in the sewers—let’s make them a friendlier place.
