Creative Expression Workshop at 395
See event details

A event held at 395 on Thursday 11th January. The event starts at 18:00.

In this week's creative workshop, you will get the chance to learn the importance of naming emotions and explore how to express different emotions with colour and paint in a light and playful way.

We will be looking at the emotion wheel and using journal prompts to explore selected emotions of your choice.

We will then be selecting colours for each emotion before creating a painting incorporating your chosen colours.

Please book your ticket in advance to allow for the preparation of materials.

These weekly sessions are a fun, safe space for beginners to experiment, play and explore creative outlets through painting, collage, printing, journaling, crafts and drawing.

This workshop series aims to give people the opportunity to learn new creative techniques and to allow people to find new modes of creative expression to aid emotional regulation and wellbeing. All abilities are welcome and you don’t need any prior experience.

Please let me know if you have any accessibility requirements and I will try and accommodate as best as I can.
