See event details

A event held at 395 on Thursday 26th September. The event starts at 19:00.

FREAKS! FREAKS! EVERYWHERE!

You'll find them on the window sill and lurking in your hair…

So even though this marks an end,
the freaks aren't gone for good!

They lurk amongst the underground and place shadows where you’re stood.

THE FREKSHOW SOCIETY IS TAKING A SHORT BREAK TO SPAWN A MINI BABY FREAK!

But before we skuttle off to hibernate, we want to celebrate with you!

YOU the freaky people
who make the Frekshow what it is!

From the green valley of Ennywevvers to the big shmoke of the Loco Klub, the unwavering support and enthusiasm of the freakish folk of Bristol has encouraged us and made every event possible.

SO PLEASE COME AND CELEBRATE!

The crew, the artists, the audience and the venues.

All the input and encouragement that has been shared amongst us all over the past 3 years, seeing performers develop alongside the event, as well as audience members who have been sucked into the theatrical games and embraced the opportunity to experiment and play with other weird and wonderful individuals.

And…

For the first time at a Frekshow event…

WE HAVE LIVE BANDS FOR YOU SEXY FREK-NUGGETS!

Jungle cats

This four-piece band from the beautiful coastland of Pembrokeshire brings you a set brimming with the funkiest baselines and even sexier guitar riffs.
With inspirations of funk, reggae and rock combined with echoes of punk and soul all fronted by powerful female vocals, the Jungle Cats will lure you to the dancefloor.

Alexander Canwell
Poet, rapper, musical bard, boom-boing-boing noises and a beautiful guitar, this man comes from some industrial yard near you, he lurks in the greenest woodlands and dances with the goblins, you may or may not recognise him from the frekshow stages gone, Alexander Canwell has been our host with the most but here you will see him sharing his truest purpose, through strange and chaotic song.

Traktor Sniffen Punks
From the gutters of the Forest of Dean, politically charged hardcore punk band with a ska/dub twist and a lust for john deer fumes and strong cider.

PLUS!!! Of course it couldn’t be a Frekshow Society event without some nutty cabaret…

The Babbling Headz.
Come to amaze and turn your mind into a mythic puddle filled with poetry and peculiar performances.
A taste of a tale
a trip down memory lane.
Of the old folk shows
before the babbling heads came.

HOMEGROWN GRUB AND GAMES.
Find out more on the night, a rabbit hole of playful stupidity.

LETS HAVE SOME FUN!
