395 Alive is more than your average open mic — it's a weekly music night built for artists, by artists. Held every Wednesday 9–11pm at 395 Sounds, this event series brings together Bristol’s best emerging talent across rap, grime, hip-hop, soul, and beyond.

Every night kicks off with The Pit — a cypher-style session where selected performers step up and go bar-for-bar, verse-for-verse, with live feedback from the crowd. It’s competitive, raw, and exciting — and the standout artists earn a slot on The Stage later that night or at future showcase events.

Each week focuses on a different genre:

23rd July: Rap / Hip-Hop

30th July: 140 / Grime

6th August: Singers & Instrumentalists

13th August: All-genre Showcase
