New music in a new space, surrounded by contemporary artworks, and all in celebration of the first year of the Factory Foundation!

Join Bristol-based musician/composer Pete Judge in the eyrie-like Loft on the 4th Floor of Southville's Tobacco Factory (access via Tobacco Factory Theatres entrance), where he’ll be performing pieces from his album "piano 4" (recorded this summer and due for release in 2027), and other compositions, on the venue's acoustic piano - as well as some new pieces for solo trumpet, with the promise of at least one more surprise instrumental appearance, and at least one very special guest collaborator...

Pete is best-known as trumpeter with BBC Jazz Award-winners @gettheblessing, acoustic duo @jow2o, and ambient-jazz-minimalist duo @eyebrow.music, and multi-instrumentalist with chamber-folk trio @threecanewhale, but he is also composer of 4 albums of solo piano music.

Plus there'll be time during the interval, and before and after the gig, to take a closer look at the work of the exhibition on the Loft's walls, which features a diverse collective of Bristol-linked contemporary artists:
