Happy to announce Issie Lloyd will be back with her ‘Foundations Of House Dance’ class to kick things off at 8pm - fun, accessible, joyful - do not miss this!!
From 9-12 we have an all-female line up behind the decks: proud to present Angel Mel, Fly Miss Fox and Katie Novo bringing abundant good energy to the dancefloor.

Issie Lloyd
Issie is co-founder of Funk Supreme, a community dance company delivering classes, social events and performances in the South West and Wales, covering styles including House, Dancehall, Hip Hop and Afrobeats. She brings a wealth of experience running interactive events that create connection through music and dance - it feels pretty special to have her.
Issie has worked as a professional dance practitioner specialising in street dance styles for 20 years, training in and delivering dance in the UK, Brazil, Ethiopia, West Coast USA and Europe.
YOUR DJS:
Angel Mel was born and bred in the heart and soul of the Bristol music scene. With her roots planted in Reggae, Drum & Bass and Trip Hop, she later branched into other areas of underground dance - Acid Jazz, Broken Beat and Deep and Soulful House.
Choosing the juiciest cuts from Soul, Funk, Rare Groove, Boogie, Disco, Soulful & Deep Afro House, Garage, Jazz, Broken Beat, Electronica, party anthems and Club
Classics, she is a true chameleon, her deep and diverse musical knowledge making her at home in many genres.
She has played at Shindig, Croatia’s Suncebeat, Southport Weekender, Gilles Peterson’s We Out Here festival, Boomtown Festival and Shambala, played and compered at Glastonbury and had the honour to DJ alongside many of her heroes including Dennis Bovell, Norman Jay MBE, Mad Professor, Jocelyn Brown, Jazzie
B, Daddy G, DJ Spoony & Zed Bias, Huey Morgan and many more.
Fly Miss Fox
Hailing from the vibrant beatscape of Bristol and a true slave to the rhythm, Fly Fox has hosted radio shows on Noods Radio, SWU.FM and Crate Digs.
Her style is diverse and eclectic - drawing inspiration from the 90's rave scene, exploring house and techno dripping in 303 acid, those deep grooves from Detroit and the classic disco and soul inspired electronic scene in Chicago.
As the co-founder and organiser of Femmes on Decks, an all female DJ led community, Fly Fox empowers women to take to the decks, earning their rightful place in Bristol’s music and cultural landscape. She hosts monthly parties and helps create line ups for events promoting rising stars in this thriving micro-culture.
Venturing beyond the city limits, she’s left her mark on festivals like Glastonbury, We Out Here & Shindig, as well as supporting Groove Armarda at Bristol’s Harbourside.
Katie Novo has been collecting music & DJing for 25 years. She has monthly radio residencies on Bristol’s Noods Radio and Brighton’s 1BTN, and founded Counting Blessings with the intention of creating a happy, welcoming space to let go & move.
