With the last Sunday of the month being NYE we will be having party in the bar that night so this month's Liquid Lunar is being bumped to a festive special on a Friday night.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED:
Different to the usual sign up process please just contact us if you would like to play. We are normally always pretty easy going about this, but on this occasion please only sign up if you are sure you can make it, we will confirm just after X Mas and sort out set times.

WHAT CAN YOU PLAY:
Just because it's a Friday the music policy hasn't changed...
Tunes in the direction of LIQUID dnb, a fair bit of scope there but nothing too hard/heavy PLEASE! We enjoy all dnb but we do want to create a very specific laid back vibe for this event that attracts dnb heads as well as passers by chilling on a Sunday. Please don't make us issue the yellow card! Haha! Genuinely this isn't an anything goes dnb open decks event, please don't play tunes just to see what you can get away with! That said, liquid is a vibe as much as a specific sub genre. You got 25+ years of anything from Bukem/Wax Doctor/Peshay style 90s progressive chilled jungle, through Marcus Intalex/AI/Calibre classic 2000s liquid, to Lenzman/Ivy Lab/Spectrasoul modern day stuff and anything in between so dig deep and get the nice soulful chilled vibes going.

TECHY BIT:
We have a set of Pioneer XDJ 700s and Pioneer DJM 350 mixer.
They are the small decks but with the modern features wave forms, memory cue points etc
They are linked so you only need 1 USB, but we always recommend bringing a back up and checking they are formatted to FAT 32.
Feel free to drop us a message with any questions. We can't really accommodate people brining their own equipment for this one but encourage everyone to come and give it a go!
If you are a vinyl only DJ give us a shout and we will do our best to get the turntables set up but recommend bringing your own cartridges and needles.
