FREEDOM FIESTA. FUNDRAISER TO SUPPORT THE PEOPLE OF PALESTINE. 18/09. 6-11PM. TO THE MOON, BRISTOL.
Let us take you on a musical, mid-week journey around the world with an evening of beats, grooves and a special raffle! Come on down and join us at To the Moon bar in Old Market on the 18th of September! Bring your friends and anyone you can persuade to come out on a Thursday night for a casual fiesta! We’ve got you! Only together can we make a difference. 100% of all donations and sales go directly to Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP), Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) and Anera. These amazing, brave charities supply vital healthcare and food to the Palestinian people and there’s no time like the present to donate. All funds will be distributed between these charities. It’s important that we continue to speak up for the Palestinian people’s freedom, especially when our politicians have the power to help stop this crisis and are not doing so. Let’s keep up this momentum and continue to organise and support a free Palestine.
We’ve got an excellent line up of local DJ’s and local gifts to win in our mega raffle so expect a high quality mid-week fiesta!

CHARITIES:
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians. They provide immediate medical aid to those in great need, while also developing local capacity and skills to ensure the long-term development of the Palestinian healthcare system. Their teams have recently finished rebuilding maternity and neonatal wards in Gaza city.

Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) provides free medical care to thousands of injured and ill children who lack local access to care within the local health care system. Their foundation relies on grassroots efforts, supported by a worldwide network of thousands of volunteers. They have a permanent office on the ground in Deir al-Balah in Gaza that is distributing infant supplies daily.

Anera helps refugees and others hurt by conflicts in Palestine, Lebanon, and Jordan build better lives by providing healthcare and education. They currently have staff in Gaza that have pushed trucks across the crossings and served millions of meals since thanks to buying local produce.
