Events on Tuesday 14th December
“An evening of sculpting a live muse from red terracotta clay. This is a beginners workshop so no experience is required! The model will sit for approximately two hours when you can study and form however you'd like to. Your host Emily will guide you through using the material and some general directions but this is an open and creative class to be free and as expressive as you like with the clay. The evening starts at 5.45pm on the first floor of the Galleries opposite the Subway, prompt arrival is necessary as the Galleries will close at 6pm. There is a BYOB invitation and there are also teas and soft drinks. All materials are provided.”

“Scratch' is the new collaboration of four Bristol-based musicians who between them have a bio including The Soul Strutters, The Brand New Heavies, The Abstract Orchestra, The Real Live Show NYC, Temple Kings, The Jazz Defenders, Soul Understated, Lettuce and many more. Digging into the crates of classic soul and funk via the portals of rap, 'Scratch' creates new forms from a selection of timeless beats and breaks, using them as a platform for fresh improvisations and as routes back to source.”
