DJ Pitch and Uncannie DJ

Exciting news for fans of both music and the month of October: 3SR welcome DJ Pitch to Unit 8 to perform music from his album “Short Glow” on 17.10.26, with support from Ringtones (Enter the Noid) who will also treat us to a live set, followed by Uncannie DJ to cap off the night with a good old fashioned dance.

DJ Pitch has his fingers firmly planted in many delicious musical pies. On top of being the founder and head of seminal labels TT and All Centre, he also interviews artists from across the musical spectrum on his podcast Clout Farm, and has long been a producer in his own right. His second full length album Short Glow, released by New York label OST and described by DJ Mag as "mellifluous avant-pop”, was one of our favourites from last year. We’re very excited to have him come and play his new live set for us and you should be too.

Ringtones, a 'bedroom skrambient' project created by Enter the Noid organiser Alex Elder, blends guitar, vocal and tape manipulation, marrying the long-form serenity of the ambient artists they grew up listening to with the abrasive experimentalism of harsh noise acts and 90s emotional hardcore.

On dancefloor support we'll have Uncannie DJ following on from the live acts.
