After their loud and explosive debut at En Masse Festival, SŌN delve deep into ritual and the lore of the land. Maen Mawr is a tripped-up, slowed-down audiovisual journey down a strange and ancient road.

Commissioned as part of our Out of Arcadia season, the experimental duo will be debuting a collage of films inspired by neolithic stones, ancient folklore, mythology, superstition and tradition within the land. Deep, dark and twisted visuals will be scored live with their own unique blend of homemade percussion instruments and robust electronic rhythms.

SŌN is a collaboration between Isaac Stacey (one half of experimentalist duo Copper Sounds) and visual artist and musician J. Martin.
