Creativity to Release Trauma Art Workshop 14-24yr at Colston Hall Workspace 1
Event Cancelled

A event held at Watershed on Saturday 16th May. The event starts at 14:00.

Join this art workshop for 14-24 year olds with the bold, bright and welcoming Fandangoe Kid (a.k.a Annie Nicholson) in a session that will allow you to  explore creativity as a tool for grief and trauma release.

Visual artist The Fandangoe Kid has used creativity extensively to navigate the immense loss of almost her entire family. Having worked with many of London’s marginalised inner-city communities over the last decade, she is very familiar with using her creative practice to unfold and release trauma, creating a safe space to help others experience this.

The Fandangoe Kid seeks to create a platform for dialogue about death, dying and traumatic loss, working towards smashing the taboo that exists in this sphere.

Duration 2 hours.
