Switch Off and Write at Watershed
Free Event

A event held at Watershed on Thursday 18th September. The event starts at 18:00.

Switch Off and Write is a casual, welcoming space for writers to come together, focus and enjoy one hour of uninterrupted writing.
Whether you’re working on prose, poetry, scripts, or journaling.
Not sure what to write? Don’t worry. Prompts will be provided for poetry, prose, and journaling to help you get started.

Use pen and paper, a laptop, your phone, or carve prose into wood. Use whatever medium feels right for you.

We’ll begin with a 20-minute chat, followed by one hour of writing together. Then we have a 20-minute post-writing chat scheduled. There’s no pressure to share your work after the group writing session, but you’re welcome to if you’d like. You can stay to chat with others or simply carry on with your day.
