Events on Wednesday 16th March
“Stacey Silvertongue has created this rich body of work with the help of Arts Council England funding and pushed hard to create something that will move you. There are few classical fusion events in Bristol as accessible as this performance. The intimate venue will enable listeners to soak in the serene sounds of live string players whilst enjoying a cocktail and not having to be afraid of coughing.”

“Welcome to I_RAN, a solo performance investigating notions of anxiety and the human desire to run away from emotion. Pungent with the euphoric melancholy of electronic music and taking the narrative and stylings of hit song I Ran (So Far Away) by 80’s new wave, synth-pop band A Flock of Seagulls, I_RAN follows a character as they fall in love with a seagull and struggle to face their feelings. A treadmill, a scrolling LED text bar and a mute performer guide audiences through an unusual world formed with a sharp, mesmeric aesthetic.”

“During these unprecedented times, we continue to reschedule our events to what we hope is a more realistic period. If it turns out your event is moved, or moved again, we encourage you to keep hold of your tickets (think of how SWEET that show will be when we can host & attend them once again) and hang in there just a little longer. Thanks for all of your continued support!”

“Founded in 1967, Tangerine Dream were one of the major forces behind the introduction of electronic music and the synthesizer to popular culture. Throughout the past 5 decades, the electronic band's countless incarnations have created more than 100 studio albums, some 60+ film scores, and received 7 Grammy nominations.”
