Blue Badgers Unplugged

Blue Badgers Unplugged at Alma Tavern

A gig on Tuesday 13th October. The event starts at 20:00.

We’re delighted to be heading back to the Alma Tavern back bar for another evening of original songs and folk tunes.

The Blue Badgers bring together fiddle, accordion, whistles, guitar, bass, cajón and heartfelt harmonies to create lively, rootsy original music with plenty of local flavour. We’ll be playing favourites from our album Strike the Spark, alongside newer songs rooted in the stories and events that have shaped our communities — including the destruction of parts of Totterdown in the 1960s and the toppling of the Colston statue.

There’s plenty happening in the Badgers’ world too: we’ve recently been re-booked to headline the Scilly Folk Festival and we’re busy working towards that trip as well as putting the finishing touches to our second album.

So come along, share a pint, settle in and join us for an evening of fiddle, songs and tunes. We’d love to see you there.
