Internationally acclaimed harp and electronica duo FitkinWall present Harpland, an evocative journey through migration, loss, and longing. Inspired by Gaelic song, Highland history, and the Highland Clearances, Ruth Wall’s exquisite harp playing—on Renaissance bray harp, Gaelic wire harp (clàrsach), and Scottish lever harp—meets Graham Fitkin’s mesmerizing contemporary arrangements.

Blending ancient traditions with cutting-edge technology, FitkinWall craft intricate soundscapes, influenced by the highly ornamented Scottish pibroch piping style. Their performance is enhanced by a stunning choreographed light installation from renowned artist Peter Freeman.

Harpland is the live showcase of UIST, their latest album. Having graced global stages from the BBC Proms to Tokyo’s Spiral Hall, FitkinWall now bring their spellbinding music to Bristol.
