But it wasn’t until 2012 when they started dog walking together that they deepened their friendship with a shared love of terrible jokes and an eclectic range of music. Since then, every year they have recorded pieces of Christmas music for their own pleasure and amusement and posted them on Soundcloud. Their excuse? “It’s about bonding and sharing and now it’s a thing” and it’s become something they look forward to each year. Nine years later with almost 30 tunes recorded the intrepid pair have decided to take their Yuletide Tradition on the road with a short Festive Season Tour. From Little Donkey to John Rutter carols and possibly some slightly cheesy Christmas numbers, tonight Fringe Jazz is fortunate to present two of the country's most celebrated jazz musicians perform their very special jazz interpretations of the Christmas music we all love.
