A
event
held at The Brunswick Club
on Saturday 10th November. The event starts at 14:00.
This will be a guided drawing workshop focusing on mark making with sound. I will be demonstrating a variety of drawing methods in an array of mediums. These will vary from paper, clay, graphite and collage, in the hope that you will pick up some undiscovered techniques.
The aim of this session is to change your perceptions of what drawing can be and how sound is perceived by using a variety of techniques to express texture, fluidity and form.
Using different sounds as a basis, we will be testing out drawing methods and exploring the relations that mark making has with sound.
This workshop is offered to all abilities and its intentions are not to be formal, but open and dynamic. Please feel free to bring any favoured drawing materials, although there will be a variety provided.
This sessions will cost £5 and will go towards materials and ceramic firing.
Strictly limited to 8 places.
